Spirorbid Polychaete

ok i was looking at my tanks and noticed these little whote specks on the glass so i took out my magnifying glass and noticed that they are spirobid polychaete. ther research i did it states that they over propulate new tanks and in time they disappear.

my question is how long does it take for them to disappear.

and does this mean that my tank is heading in the right direction since they appeared.

My tank is over four years old and I still have them.

definately a good thing unless they are covering the front of the glass, then you can scrape them off
