hey guys,

i have my 7" squamosa up for trade. the shell is 7", his mantle expands an inch or so over both ends, so hes pretty big.

i bought him less than a year ago at about 5.5" hes in my 30 gallon, but hes just too big for it now.

im looking for any nice micros or rare zoas, or a combination of both. ill also consider sps i dont already have.

i will ship at your expense or we can meet up somewhere if your local.

heres a pic of him from a few months ago. pic was taken under 250w 14k phoenix bulbs.

Here's a pic of the squamosa (about 4" under 14k), post 59 is a blastomussa Wellsi,
you're welcome to it - it is showing signs of bleaching since I acquired it.
It has lost some color, but I believe it can be saved since none of the flesh has disappeared yet.

lmk, also where in LI are you located??

Here is a shot I just took 1 minute ago, I tried moving it all around my tank, it's just not happy anywhere.

No prob. if you're not comfortable with the trade don't worry bout it.
In this hobby it's hard to let go of things you watched grow over time.
Lucky for me the squamosa I have is a recent acquisition.

Also you might get a better offer in the next few hrs.

lol. its gunna be hard to get rid of him, but i hate to see him cramped up in the corner of my tank. especially since its the only thing in my tank my parents really like.

its not really that im loking for better offers. i was thinking of giving him to my local aquarium. i think it would be pretty cool to watch him grow in the reef tank there and still see him there like 16" in a few years.

Do you mean Atlantis in Riverhead? If so then that would indeed be very cool.

yea, atlantis marine world. i mean they have a lot of big clams already, but it would still be cool to see one that was once in my little 30 gallon in their big display.
