I have a lot of rock. Is there any way I can store it outside for the winter? Its in the suburbs not the city I just need the space because it can't stay in the garage anymore.
Its already dead rock. I do have two rubbermaid containers of live rock already in the basement and why I don't really want to put anymore there, no room.
Yea i wouldnt do loose out of fear of freeze thaw. When the rock would get wet and water freeze and expand it would crack the rock like potholes in roads except worse due to all the pores already there for water to fit in. I think a couple cheap plastic totes from walmart ducktaped shut would be perfect though to keep it dry and keep any animals and bugs from checking it out if still has any fish smell left to it.
