Hi Everyone!
I have a 150 tank with mostly soft corals along with a few hard frogspawn and candy canes. I have no plans to go sps so I dont need super intense lights. What I have now are Hamilton 2 175 watt 14000 k MH with 2 40 watt Actinic. The ballast went out last week on the Actinic so I called Hamilton and found out that my lights are well over 15 yrs old(I bought used). So instead of replacing the ballast and waiting for more to go wrong Ive decided to replace the whole lighting system instead. I'm looking for some that comes with legs or can sit on the tank. I cant hang them from the ceiling in my apt. Why wait until June? Well the MH are still working and the bulbs for the MH are good until July. I would also like to pay off some of my credit card bills first. I have a budget of 1000$ but have no idea where to get the best deal on what I'm looking for?
