I am planning on building a sump this weekend, if my design works. Hopefully the "drawing" has all the needed (other than it's 11.5" wide) information. I am unsure of the skimmer make (no identification on it), but the pump on it is a Rio 1100 (382gph), the pump in the return is a Rio 1700 (642gph). The second baffle of the refugium will be notched w/ 1/2 teeth, to insure direction of flow. I am planning on making it out of 1/4 plexiglass. I want to make sure to have enough room left over for overflow, so I can adjust to height of the refugium baffles if needed. Anyone have ideas, good or bad?

Looks like it should work fine. Mine 30G sump is similar. If I had to do it over again I would have made the skimmer chamber larger for ease of skimmer maintanance and the option to upgrade to something slightly larger in the future.

I have maxed out the room in the stand and am trying to get the largest 'fuge area possible. I (w/ much help from someone else), have reconfigured it to allow for overflow in case of power outage and think that we have it figured out.
