sump in the basement

water going in to basement thru 1"pvc pipe is very fast any idea how to control the flow and other member have sump in the basement

nope i let it fly keeps the sump clean. but yes to sump in the basement!

+1 with basement

and I agree with letting it flow but you may want to install ball valves for maintenance, control, etc. Also, you did not mention if it was your supply or return. We went with 1 1/2" pipe and reduced at the tank. Also, confirm the length and hieght of the run to ensure you have the properly sized pump.

mag 2400 and 8 feet long return line 1" for 2400 using adopter 3/4 8 feet and reduce to 1/2 for pressure problem is return dumping lots of pressure in basement tank where return 1' pvc goe's in to the tank and tank has continues flow to bring water bach at the refugim where the mag 2400 is and it goes direct to my living room 240 gal tank

Get a gate valve for that. Its worth the extra money for that type of application
