Great game. Terrible officiating. How do you not review the final play? His arm was coming forward. Some other questionable calls to. Anyway, another exciting game to watch.
Ben Roethlisberger- How does a many 6'5 240lbs move so scramble so quick and still find an open man.
The game changer was definitely James Harrison 100yd TD. Why the Cards tried to throw on 1st and goal is beyond me. They would have gone into the half winning or at least tied and with possesion at the start of the 3rd.
11 penalties for 106yds didn't help the cause either :irked:
i also thought that the officiating was terrible... the last play was awful... his arm was obviously coming foreward and anyone could see that... and the play about roughing the holder, he was falling and on his way down he put his arms out and happened to land on him, if the guys already sprawling it shouldnt be called...
The call that changed the game was the roughing the passer call, when everyone included Al Michaels and John Madden was expecting an intentional grounding call. That set up the Steelers with 1st and 10 instead of 3rd and long.
Also, on that 100 yard run back you can clearly see somebody holding Kurt Warner's jersey while blocking him. So he should have never been able to run it back. Seemed like Tim Donaghy (NBA ref who fixed games that he bet on) was working on last nights crew. Just about every call went to the Steelers.
