Sureflow 1600s

I just got the Sureflow 1600 MJ mod for my tank and wow am I impressed! I had two MJ 900s and a small Mag1.5 providing flow to my tank. I was able to replace all of that with one single modded MJ.

Now I'm enjoying watching my fat fish work out a bit against the current.


Other thoughts? I've never used Tunze or Seios, so I don't know how they match up.

Call Algae Free and ask for the new hi flow impeller, apparently they are swapping them out for free. It will give you more flow than a tunze 6101 and then get a wavemaker to shut it on/off. Won't be a tunze on the aquasurf but it will still be nice.

They're all using the dumas 3004 impellers now. So the flow is getting up to 2500gph on some kits. I went with the tritonaquatics gs2 kit but haven't recieved them yet. Would have got the sureflow but they just decided to use the bigger impellers. Not sure if the smaller mj's will do it though.
