Hi MR, I was doing my stock up shopping yestarday at aqua hut and I was walking down the bulb isle. They had a box that looked like it just came off the truck and inside the box were bulbs from wave point tech. I took one of the bulbs out and it was a 460 atinic bulb compared to the 420 I was using from coralife. To my supprise they also sell 12k bulbs red glow, and other bulbs that makes it easy for you to switch out the bulbs and try different lighting arragments. The price was not bad at all 14.99$ for one bulb and yes they are ho. So I put the light in the fixture and iw as amazed by the brightness of the bulb and the color it threw off. I am going to go back to the hut and see if they have the rest of the bulbs for sale and then do a picture shot in this thread with them on.

o I almost forgot to mention tha tthey have the new marileland led lights for about 200. Now I know marine land compared to solaris is a joke, but they might be considered looking at.

there should be a great improvement besides the fact that you are replacing weakened bulbs by the fact that you used them, also coralife isnt exactly the best company for lighting.

the buld I had was 2 months old, brand new. I replaced it to see the color veriation in the tank lol .
