OK. I've been thinking about this for a while. Here goes-
I have a Solana tank and stand, along with a brand-new Solana Superbrite tank for sale. I'm going to sell this rather cheap, but there are a few provisions.
TWO tanks (read about them below), Solana stand, DIY light hanger. All for $180
TANK INFO:
The main tank is 34 gallons with the black filter chamber in the back. In order to fit the skimmer, I removed the chute that holds the filter pad. The main filtration is still there and it doesn't look different when looking at the tank from the front. You need to either keep the water level high or attach some sound-deadening sponge material. Or the the water drips and it can get annoying. Not a huge deal.

Here are the issues (MUST READ):
The orig. tank is a bit unlevel. It's probably 1/5 to 1/4 inch lower in the back left-hand corner than the rest of the sides. It's been like that for a number of months. I have been told that you can re-level the tank and it will be fine, and I know some people have unlevel tanks all the time. But I just personally don't trust it. Also the tank is on a thin piece of rubber mat-type material because the stand has some bubbling due to water. I was also told this is fine.
The Superbrite is BRAND NEW. However, the glass is only 5 mm thick and I've done some research. It looks like the glass is too thin. Is that actually the case? I don't know. Some tank-building experts have said the glass should be 12mm thick. On the other hand, Current is a huge company and has sold 1,000s of Solanas, and I'm sure many Superbrite tanks (and I think other tanks are similar...). That said, I don't trust it personally.
If you decide to buy the entire package, that's great. You can use the glass tanks as a sump, spare glass, or a terrarium (frog tank, anyone?!) even. Or you can use them as reef tanks, if you want. Here's the deal- I am 100% not responsible for anything that happens once I sell the tanks. You've been sufficiently warned
Please do NOT re-list these tanks on Craigslist or do other DB things.
The stand is black and has black film on the front glass to block the light (I love that feature of this stand). You might want to sand down the bubbles and/or buy a piece of wood or granite or something for the top. It also comes with the DIY light hangar system.
Price? Well... I'm including two tanks (yes, with issues), so let's try $180 for everything. I'm not 100% sure I'm selling yet. May just cut my losses and keep it in the basement.
