I will run my tank online for a few days. I read a post about lighting from yznhmr on Oct.22nd and I said I would put this online so people can see what my tank looks like. I will possibly run the camera the whole week during the day only. If you are interested in some frags, I have some for sale or trade. If you buy some, make sure you want a few. Please read the post from yznhmr. I wrote about all the lighting arrangments I tried. The only arranment I have not tried is with PC. I have used 175W, 250W, 400W MH Mogul and 250W HQI systems with 5500, 6500, 12K, 10K, and 20K, sunburst, iwasaki, coralife, blueline. I only have a 20K on the 400WMH and 250HQI only uses Ushio 10K bulbs. Bulbs are about 6 to 9 months old and only used for a month or two after the initial 100 hour burn in. So these bulbs are at about 1/2 life. I ran VHO with these tests as well. But, that is explained in his post. If you have questions, I can try to help. If the interest is real high, I can take pics with all the different lighting setups. Maybe just a pic of the bulbs ON in the exact setup so the intensity and CCT (what you see) can be viewed. Maybe use a white background with some rocks piled up under the bulb(s). I have a setup already in place to burn in bulbs so this won't be to much trouble. The burn in system is not on a tank but set up in my basement. I will use a Sony Cybershot 3.3 pixel DSC-S75 camera. I use a Sony CCD-TRV20 digital camcorder for the web cam.
