Why do tanks always have to have problems the one day you dont look at it. I've got a 72bow set up at work and I checked it fed them and stuff saturday night. I got side tracked on sunday because I just bought a house on friday and was busy so I didnt get to check it... I come in this morning and the power to whole tank is off someone knocked out the main plug so no lights or pumps were going. My female clarkii clownfish is dying and a lot of my hard corals look bad... I hope they do better why the heck is it always the one day you can't be there? grrrrr

Sorry to hear Brian!
Congrats on the house though...

Do let us know how things go with the tank & hope your clown pulls through. Do you have a regular pump/airline you can add to the tank to get the oxygen levels back up quicker?

With a UPS tho you can plug one into the heater and 1 into the pump and if the power gets knocked out you have a battery backup for a little while and it beeps like crazy so someone knows something is wrong.

Wish the SPS survived.

I would check ammonia and pH levels as well-looks like there is die off going on. Sigh-SPS is a dangerous game.

Agreed. "why it has to be the day we are not around"

My parrot had cooked couple of my fish(very precious ones) by twisting the knob of the heater. Lucky, I come home early that day and saved the rest of that tank.
