teflon tape and rodi

if it's for the fitting yes it's okay..

But only on the threads. Don't use teflon tape on the threads on the compression portion of a compression fitting.

have a minor leak coming from the cap of RO membrane. it came with a rubber over the threads originally but i just cant seem to get it back into position. its a little damaged.
where can i pick one up?
