I decided to test my water before the water change this weekend using reef crystals
phosphates-0
nitrates - 0
calcium - 350 other times its been 50from other buckets
alkalinity- 10 dkh other times been 12dkh other buckets
magnesium - 1050 never checked this before but now i know why I always have to add magnesium . I do weekly to biweekly water changes of 15-20% and magnesium is always falling bellow 1150
This time I brought the magnesium to 1300 and calcium to 450 before the water went into the tank
Anyone else doing this?
It should help everything stay stable
