Thanks for the Frags

Last evening my wife and I had the pleasure of meeting a member here
Arati (Chris) He and his wife came over and gave me about 7 beautiful frags. I am extreamly happy as my tank has not had SPS corals in it in many years. Now I have to upgrade my lighting as It is in need of repair.
I diden't bother with it because my corals were just leathers and colts so the lighting was not that important.
Chris and his wife are a really nice couple, even my wife liked them and she thinks all of us fish Geeks are, well, Geeks.
Of course I have been the Fish Geek the longest so I can say that. :shhh:

My wife was super impressed with your workshop. She told me that you taught her the "bottle makin secrets", but she wouldnt tell me. Top Secret info I guess. Maybe Ill spy on her when she starts making her own. :lol:

Awilda I really should take some pictures. I want to make some rock to cover the cement plugs the frags come on. They will blend in better then and I just can't leave things alone.

I have to make larger bases for the frags as the fireclown does not tolerate anything small enough for him to pick up. He lifts the frags out of the rocks, bases and all and deposits them on the gravel so thats where I have to keep them now. He is in breeding mode and feels the entire tank is his domain and will bite the hell out of me when I try to go near anything. Luckily, I can take him, I was trained in hand to fin fighting. :bablefish

LOL. Paul my GS Maroon who is huge, looks to be 5", attacks my hand every single time I go in the tank. My sand bed she keeps smashed up on the front glass. I can fix it 20 X a day and she will just push it up on the glass within minutes.

How come you don't glue the plugs into crevices in your rocks?

I just got them two days ago.
We are busy planning a very small surprise party this weekend for my daughter who will be 30. For this we keep going to City Island to make arrangements so I have not had a chance to do anything with the frags but stick them in the sand so the clown does not bother them.
Tonight we have a house full of friends from Florida and tomorrow we are invited out for the day, Monday is my wife's birthday and I made hotel reservations so it will be a few more days before I can work on the tank. I diden't even feed the fish yesterday so they are giving me dirty looks and that clown has a big rock in his mouth that he is motioning he will throw through the glass if I don't feed him.
I hope he likes birthday cake :bablefish

Chris all of the frags are open and are doing fine.
Did your wife make any bottles yet or do you need help emptying them?
