i've got about 50 gallons of fresh RO water ready to roll. most of it is salted already. between now and saturday morning i should have a total of roughly 100.
--only becuase it makes me feel better to see it written out--
i will:

-pull off about 50 gallons out of the tank to be reused

-pull out what ever fish i can

-dose the tank with eXit

-storm the tank with a powerhead as much as i can to mix the water

-pull each rock out one by one and give it a fresh water dip and right into a batch of either old tank water, or a mix of new and old (salt water to be discarded)

-my cousins are coming over to help me move it across the room

-new sand

-new/some old (clean) water into the tank

-everyone back in the pool!!

-rescape

-beer

-lights on

-enjoy

sound?

Sounds like a plan. It's pretty extreme, but I haven't been able to get rid of my flatworms with "normal" means :P

Just use a lot of carbon in the new tank for a few weeks, just in case there is any nasties left in the water. It did a number on my water quality and fish health.

Remember the order of operations is important! Move tank first, beer afterwards ;)
