The tank will be in an office on my desk. Temps are controlled during the week, but the building turns off the AC on the weekends to save bills. I plan on using one of the micro chillers to make sure that I can keep the temps stable. Other than that, has anyone seen/used this particular tank setup? I've seen the 12g hex w/ everything built in, but this seems to have better specs (w/g, better skimmer, etc). I will be removing the w/d part of the tank, and putting in a macro refugium, but other than that, does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Brian that would make a FINE reef aquarium. I dont know how the pricing would fare in terms of buying the parts separately, but at face value it looks like a good deal.

Excellent idea about replacing the wet/dry with a refugium. The lights look good to go and it appears to be a well-planned setup.

Great thread referral, Id consider buying one of those.

Looks very nice. I'd buy it. I would check to see if they can drill holes in the back wall for closed loops.

I like the design. I have a 18 gallon tank with the built in wet/dry and skimmer. I pulled all that crap out and have a thriving fuge in there now instead. The little sump/fiulter area is also a nice place to be able to do topoffs and add supplements since it's open.
