anyone ever hear about a planaria experiment where the worms are taught a maze and then ground up and fed to other untrained planaria which will then apear to have instinctual knowledge of the maze?
Ya know what? I think I heard that story once only about rats...
I think they pretty much confirms the urban legend status with that, but maybe snopes.com will have it somewhere.
Thanx for the link Podman. Fun thing to do with 5th grade kids to demostrate some of the principles of a scientific investigation, but I am very skeptical about rather the experiment is scientifically sound in a rigorous sense.
