Hi all,

back again from my Qt from Ick. I've lost 6 fish total out of 8, my survivors are my 4+ yrs old gold stripe maroon clown, and a yellow margin trigger which is now in a new home. This was the worst ick outbreak ive ever had, the tanks been fallow for almost 2month so it should be "ick free". My GSM is waiting to go home, and i looking forward to restocking the tank...very slowly . Hope everyone is well.

Stocking list: comments welcome.
-power blue tang
-yellow tang or sailfin tang
-Queen Angel (adult prefer)
-Large Wrasse (Tusk.? / Marble)
-Dwarf Angel (potters? suggestions?)

i just found out that the Queen is very agressive. I would like to have a potters angel in the same tank do you think it possible or not advisable. They are going to be in a FOLR 120G tank. Reefers w/ angel tanks please chime in.

I wouldn't count on that..

120G is a bit small for matured large angels, they will go after smaller ones.

PBT is a ich magnet..

PBT will be treated w/ cupramine before it goes into the main tank. Thinking of getting a potter angel and large one.

Have you thought of running a UV filter on your tank? That would help preventing future outbreaks, as well as quarantining which I see you are already planning.

i have a 25W UV running 24/7 on the tank, but the fish all got the ick.

Don't know.. I had a few over the years and the longest one I kept was little over a year.
