she said she WAS the tech n her touble shooting was "unplug n plug method". she wont let me talk to any1 else n that i have only 2 options. bring the box in or schedule for a tech. thats about the 5th box i hada exchange. i had it with time warner. i pay over $120 a month n get the crapiest services. n talkin to the cs is like talkin to an angry hilda from ugly betty.
i'm going to rcn or verizon.

Those error codes means your box is shot. Replace it at one of the centers or Have one of the Cs reps make an appointment and None of them are techs, so while they may have different levels of cs reps not one of them can be a technician. If your conversation with the rep is less than favorable make sure you get thier name first and then insist to speak with a supervisor.

A tip on helping your dvr lasting longer is to keep it ventilated and the highest cause of Dvr going bad is cats from my experience nothing against cats I have one but they love the heat and like to rest on the dvr causing it to overheat.

If switching companies is what you want to do, then opt for verizon going to rcn is like switching from a 100 gallon to a 40 gallon.
