ok so i have been searching for pods at night with a flashlight and every night about an hour after the lights go out, the live rock becomes covered with hundreds of tiny (5mm if that) brown shelled snails. then by morning, they're all hiding away somewhere. along with them are small all while snails with long pointy shells? i guess any life is good life so they cant be bad. tank is also infested with spaghetti worms........ infested, i'd rather have them than not have 'em, they clean up the sand bed quite well.

Some pyramidellid snails feed on clams...and they can be pretty bad. Others just hang out on Astrea shells. I once sent a few of those snails to Ron Shimek, who told me not to worry about them. I haven't seen them in years...my tricolor wrasse must have eaten them all.
