Tortoises at the Office

Just wanted to post a video of my russian Tortoises that keep me company at the office.
Trying to take videos out of my cell phone. Still learning the ropes on how to use it. Eventually the quality should get better.
Seems like a better idea having them in the office as im here all day.
Other than the 2 employees who got laid off that sat next to me, these are the only other breathing animal thats in my row.
Keeps me company.

Actually, people dont really know I have them there unless there nosey and take a peak. There on my reference/ drafting board. Had so much space that i decided one day to bring them in. My supervisior catches me one in awhile just staring them trying to relax.

Great! I have a pair of Russian torts at home...they decided to hibernate this year....I always hoped to mate them, but while the male is definitely interested, the female, who is now twice his size, wants nothing to do with him.

I put them in a 10 gallon tank when I Clean the table or when i head out to the field but i try my best to let them roam around most of the day.
My coworker actually keeps an eye on them when i am not around. He lets me use his fridge so I put the food in it.

A foot print of about 3'6"x2'6".
2 light fixtures. one for the top of the tank and the other one was my reference light.

Trying to figure out a nice way to make a box type of housing for them for when i finally take them back home.

I'll be back friday for work to check on them.
