Ok, I have a incredible opportunity presented to me but I presents a big problem too.
I have a 150G fowlr tank with:
1 large damsel (has been with me the longest but super agressive)
1 small chromis
1 small blue damsel
1 tomato clown
1 small huma huma
1 porcupine puffer
1 dog face puffer
1 snowflake eel
Most of my fish are small except for the puffers. porcupine is about 5 inches, dog face is 6-7 inches.
I adopted the puffers because some jerk was going to throw them out. The porcupine is not my favorite fish because he eats everything, makes a mess and limits me having anything else in there. He is agressive (dogface is mildly passive)
Ok, I needed to give you that background.
Here is the dilemma, a friend needs to move and asked if I would be interested in buying his fish. He has a beautiful collection of angels and he is offering them to me very reasonably price. I would much rather have angels than my sloppy puffer. (Sorry, I know people love puffers but Im not to keen on this guy).
He already has a deal with a LFS to buy them but he's offering them to me first. I have a newborn so its not as if I can go and spend big bucks on angels.
I dont want to overload my tank, shock my system or any of the myriad of things that could happen. Do I sell some and add others? How long should I take to make it easy on everyone?
Or do I pass on this chance and sulk about it forever?
Thanks
(and no, he doesnt want to sell them online to anyone, I asked)

If your heart is set on buying his fish, then sell yours to private individuals or trade them to a LFS and buy his. Why kick yourself over it?

Just be sure that if you plan to keep any of your collection that they are compatible with the fish you are adding.
