I just received a small custom sump I had ordered and the manufacturer put on 2" eurobracing instead of the 1" bracing I had asked for. Now there isn't enough room in the main chamber for the skimmer I want to get. I'd like to trim back the bracing, but I'm wondering what the best way to do this is. Any suggestions?

Good to see you back on board - hope the west coast is treating you well.

In your situation, I use a dremel with one of those sanding wheels - if you get a good dremel and it has the router guide, use that with a router bit for it - the cutting will goquicker.

Good to see you settling in and let me know if you need anything -

Thanks everyone. I ended up getting a carbide bit for my dremel and it did a good job. It's a little rough, but it's the sump, so it doesn't have to be perfect. I'm setting the tank up now and will be filling it this weekend, so hopefully I'll start a new tank thread soon and post some pictures.
