Hey All,

My glass stays pretty clean (maybe a scrape weekly) however, closer to the bottom of the tank, near the sand, a more stubborn green algae persists that mere rubbing wont take off. I've tried scraping with a Kent glass scraper but I'm doing tons of damage to the glass because the sand gets caught in the blade.
Question is, is there another scraper out there not over $80 that doesn't let sand get caught inbetween? or another way someone has found to work? I can get my hand to the bottom, so depth isn't really a problem.
Thanks!

I'm fighting Coraline algae on front and sides, especially on the bottom. I've found a little sand with my large mag cleaner works well. Just don't over do it. I clean 3 X a week, and if I'm gone for a week the front glass is covered. I'm not over feeding. Once a day, or every other day. I have a lot of flow, you may want to increase yours, and make sure your UV light is working.
