Tunze 6055

Quick question, will a tunze 6055 controllable turn on without a controller plugged into port? I think the previous owner used it with the apex but I can't find the cable at this time. I wanted to turn it on to just get some water movement during the cycle while I have my rw8 on my temp tank with my livestock.

It is currently plugged in from outlet to adapter. I figured it would atleast turn on at the highest setting until a controller tells it otherwise. It isn't doing anything at the moment.

I have owned the Tunze 6055 before. . . If i recall correctly if you plug it in with out a control it will function just like Tunze a 6025 or 6045 where you will have a constant stream.

The controller basicallly just ramps it up and down. Without a controller it will function like a regular pump.
