It should, but needs to be underwater to stay cool, otherwise it will overheat so make sure your sump water will be deep enough. Have you tryed mesh modding the sedra already?
I have the mesh mod, it is okay. I was looking at the hyrofoamer but RC has a lot of threads with problems....so I will not do it. I will get an Octopus extreme 160 when I change tanks.
