I disagree, your drains can only handle so much and most people want more flow than just the return can offer(when I say most I mean me and other SPS keepers), not to mention different angels and speeds which some powerheads can offer. Also as Josh said in the case your return pump goes out at least you have powerheads moving water.
That's why you use a hydor koralia( I believe they are called) it does give some but not a noticable amount of back pressure on the pump...
And oxygen issue.... Let's just say I should be getting the new product in monday that takes care of that and serves the purpose of an ozone generator setup:shhh::shhh:.. You guy's know, I'll let you guy's know first hand how this piece of equipment kicks ass,,lol..
