Tunzes go bad too

One of my nano 6025 stopped working. I took it out for cleaning and this is what I found. I bough it used 6months ago so I dont know its age. Just sharing with you guys...

Ah...that sucks. Every mechanical part has a certain life expectancy. Being submerged in salt water certainly wont help either. Maybe ask tunze if they'll warranty it.

I had that happen to one of my powerheads from never cleaning the stainless steel pin. Needless to say every month I break down now and rinse out the impellers to remove any oxidation.
Just because a part is stainless steel, it is metal and will rust.

Ive had lots of probs with the 6045, the propeller goes the opposite way sucking in, the clip broker, overall I think Koralia better quality for a cheaper price
