Looking for unique blast morphs, especially pink/yellow centers. These pieces are not cheap, I'd prefer a polyp or 2 frag. Coral Theory was the only store to do this. Too bad they're not in the retail part of the hobby anymore. I still have a colony from their "Pandora Charm" blasto which is unique to this day.

thats because fragging blastos arent easy, i frag my blasto colony 1 time with a band saw and it was a mess and half. almost not worth it, to get 1 - 2 heads out sometimes you lose 1 or 2 heads in the process.

I know it's difficult, but when you're talking ultra blastos the price is insane. I've seen a few polyp colonies selling for $500 and more. On a band saw fragging blastos is pretty easy, with a clipper :bigeyes2: not so much :)

Nice, but I've seen a lot nicer out there. Hot pink/yellow center. Different variations of golden colors. Red is a common color when it comes to blastos.

Yes I know what you are looking for crazy rainbow (me too :wink1:). What caught my eye about this one (and the pictures of all the colors inside the red and relative size do it absolutely no justice) is that this is one of the giants being found occasionally. If you look at it in my tank full of wellsi's it is much larger, flatter and more encrusting. You can read a bit more here but there is not much info or pictures of these guys as they are not often collected or are misidentified: Blastomussa vivida
