upgrading TEK T5 vs. NOVA EXTREME PRO

this would be 36 inch fixture

39 x 6 what do you guys think?
its for a 70 g tall reef, i want to keep almost anything in there.. i'm running nova extreme 39 x 4 now, and all is doing really well but my stony corals are not as bright

i even have a clam in there (uphigh) that is doing amazing

a real upgrade would be to a fixture with individual reflectors.

Agreed, MH would be a real upgrade. Otherwise look into the Aquatinics fixture.

i don't want halides at all,

so its the teks vs the new nova pro extreme, both units have individual reflectors

I LOVE T5's just need a lil more light thats all

so which unit is better and why?

I have the TX5 from Aquatinics.Great fixture.I have SPS in my tank.

I ran the aquatinics constellation and I loved it. The quality of individual reflector is important as is weather or not it is actively cooled. Aquatinics uses top notch reflectors as well as active cooling. It also comes with a splash shield standard.
