Upgrading the tank syndrome.......

Is it just me or does it seem like almost every one on the board is planning on upgrading their tank? I don't have a problem with that but I hate to see it used to excuse bad decisions. "It's okay to put this tang in my 30 gallon because I'm going to upgrade my tank to a 200 soon." Why not just wait until you have the big tank and then buy the fish. Just my humble opinion.

I am not planning on upgrading my 150 anytime soon. I agree though, just because you plan on upgrading doesn't mean you will. I hate seeing tangs or fish in small tanks that have no business being in a small tank.
