Urchin releasing white stuff fromt he belly

Anyone have seen and know what's the white smokey stuff that an urachin release at the belly??? Is it toxic or .... How, why, when the urchin do that? Any info is helpful.

not sure, but it could be urchin sperm or eggs, snails will do that also.

In urchin the sperm is white and the eggs are red-orange.

If so, bad news for me.

Soon I cannot put my hand in the tank because of all the baby urchins take over!:headache: I love to fondle the tank and its inhabitants.
