:) I just bought a used 12 Gallon Nano Tank with Moon lights and a 20 Gallon bio wheel filter for a Hundred Dollars.I have about 6 pounds of live rock in there with 4 pounds of Base Rock.I plan on buying 5 more pounds of live rock in the next few days.I plan on puting a Blackcap Basslett in there.I was wondering with 10 to 12 pounds of live rock in there do you think that it will cycle in a week or two?.I also plan on putting a Damsel in there to increase the cycle time.I need some good advice on this please Blackcap Bassletts are not cheap.Do you think this is to risky and maybe I should wait longer?.I have had them in the past in my community tank, but they do not seem to be very tough fish :( .So whoever has had or has Blackcap Bassletts. Could you give me some good advice the Black cape Basslett and one Damsel and a Cleaner shrimp and a few snails and crabs will be all that is in this Tank

risky..wait longer, no matter what fish you put in there. wait till everything zeros out and then you can do whatever you like.
are you testing the water?....

A 12 gallon tank is too small for a Blackcap Basslet IMO. I recommend looking around for a smaller species to keep. Matt (one of our admins) has put together a lot of information on possible fish for small tanks.

Also, I recommend adding all the rock you want and giving the tank some time to settle down before attempting to add a fish. Make sure there are no detectable levels of ammonia or nitrite prior to stocking. Please do not add a fish to aid in the "cycle". This is not necessary (the live rock will provide plenty of bacteria and organics for the nitrogen cycle) and it's not a very nice thing to do to the fish.
