Used acrylic tanks

While putting my sump together i accidentally bumped my pipe with the return pump and cracked my new 40 gallon breeder. I was going to buy new tank but i found a 40 breeder acrylic for real cheap but it is 7 maybe 8 years old. Do they have a good life span? Also i know acrylic baffles are no good for glass tanks but can you use glass baffles in acrylic tanks?

I have 20 yr old acrylic tanks, and a sump that's close to 20...no problem

You really should glue/weld acrylic baffles in to it, silicone won't hold glass in place on the acrylic very well

+1 , i got 60 gal. Acrylic sump, no problem .
