Using Bug spray too close?

Kinda nervous. Found ants coming in from under my front door. My tank is only 3 ft from the door. I'm using a stream home defense spray. Is there a chance that my tank will get contaminated and kill everything?

I say again it isn't a mist bug spray.

i would ventilate the room with a fan for a while. that stuff still gives off fumes, that your skimmer will suck right up.

open the door, face the fan opposite of the tank and spray away.

If you're still concerned, I'd turn the skimmer off for an hour or two as well as the above recommendations. Can't be too safe.
