vho/t-5???

I was wondering if a hood that was made for VHO's would be able to hold t-5's instead? I was at a lfs today and the VHO tubes seems a little longer then the t-5's, while they are both suppose to be 36inches. Any thoughts?

End caps are different... so you would need to change those. When you change them you could place them the proper distance apaert as required.

t5's are alot thinner. vho's are huge and bulky like flourescent bulbs.

hmmm always thought the endcaps were universal, but i guess wrong. And aron i know they thinner, but that wasn't the question

you would also need t5 reflectors for optimal results
