Via aqua titanium heater

Does any one use this? I wanted it in the sump but the diagrams on the instructions ,shows the heater upright and i might have to lay it longways, also it said do not place in filtration. I really dont like it in the main tank with wires hanging out Can i use it in sump or did I get 2 wrong heaters?

I have been using them in my salt mix tank and my display in my sump. zero issues so far but be careful where you put it in the sump. I had it too close to my return pump and it keep blowing out the pump. I have mine in my skimmer section and the temp probe in my fuge.
