Want more flow how can i do it..

i have a mag 7 on my 50 breeder right now with valve 3/4 open because my grain is not large enough for return flow..how can i open my drain hole SAFELY so i can open my valve all the way so i get more flow from my mag

are you needing more gph to your sump, or did you want more flow in the display? if it's the latter, i would use powerheads and not rely on the return for flow.

Or you can change out the Mag7 to something that is pressure rated and use penductors on your returns.

Yeah I use the big 6 or 7 inch eductors.. Your tank can be drilled full also.. I do it all the time, giving you more drain.. Also one of the reasons I don't go with sand I thought about using crused coral with the new set up but nah.. Just seagrass on the bottom...
