there are online companies that will rent it out for $20 per week.

There is a deposit involved which is refunded back once you return the meter.

Reef Radiance has the Seneye on sale this week for $100 I believe. It has a par meter built in. Never used it so I can't tell you how good it is but considering getting one myself.

It would be nice if we can see a comparison between seneye par meter and apogee. One would think that Seneye will do this to boost their sales. If their par meter was close they would have done a comparison by now? no
