i used petco's water when i first started the hobby didnt have a problem with it would recommend it.......

Used it for over a year and plan on sticking with it.

They are perfectly good. I had great results with it. The water was always dead on salt levels and I had great growth with it.

There are some threads on this site about this and the other available brands.

My advice is to invest in an RO/DI unit and some good salt mix ( I use ESV, I used to use reef crystals with no adverse effects). 5 or 10 gallons of the Petco stuff is fine here or there but it will get expensive to do regular water changes with this (imo) not to mention the lugging it around. Overall it is your choice. I read some of the reviews and they said the calc levels are low in it. I would test each batch before you use it.
