Water change?

Do you dose on water change day?If so do you lessen the dosage for that day?

Good question! Technically i would say no as your wc water should be the same as the levels you are dosing and you dose to maintain your leveks do to consumption. I can see maybe during you would disable...maybe im thinking from an automated vs manual?

Would love to hear more experienced opinion as i have not started dosing myself...

i would say if your dosing manually, then skip the day. if your using dosing pumps or cal reactor then let them run.

Yea this is all new to me too I should get a lab coat I been testing this water so damn much. Just curious what size is your tank and what corals do you have.I am suprised that I even have to dose but the levels been steady for a couple days so I guess it gets sucked up. I was having low alk but its ok now. Im gonna test the new salt water just to make sure.I finally hit a steady point and dont wanna loos it due to a bad salt batch or not matching levels.The good thing is with the help frome people here and getting the experience with the tank I am learning a great deal.
