water parameters, are they cool?

Is this ok that my Magnesium levels are so high? I don't add a supliment. Just water changes.

Ca 455
Mg 1485
dKH 8
PH 8.0

Are these levels ok, or should I try to change them? I have checked these levels every 4 days, so these are solid numbers.

Your Mg is not crazy high. Those numbers are fine IMO/IME. Keep doing whatever you're doing... :wink:

Personally I don't get too worried about 'perfect' numbers. As long as they're in the ballpark and everything looks healthy, my philosophy is "if it ain't broke"...

I agree I see no problems with the numbers either. You also mention that you have tested for the last 4 days and get the same results, stability is very important in this hobby as well.
