Anyone know of a good external pump that doesn't have much heat transfer?
I'm currently using a Little Giant 4MDQX-SC
and this thing heats up my tank to 82 deg.
with the tank lids closed and 80 deg. with them
opened.
I have a 125 gal. tank ,as for now I shut the Little Giant pump off and I'm running an in sump pump and the temp is a steady 77.6 deg.
Any suggestions?
thanks

I'm sure that would help ,I learned today that the little giant pumps are known to produce alot of heat.I was told to go with LifeGuards QuietOne
which is mudh cooler and quieter.
As for now I'm using a submersable pump and things are cool.
