I found a few of these in my sump does anyone know what they are and what to do about them if anything ?

I am not sure that it is a bristle worm. Do the worms have "bristles" on them, or are they smooth???

IMO it looks like fire bristle worm

You can see the extensions of where the bristles are... however they are hidden because of the rock still having the white appearance.

+1 on bristle worm. If they're in your sump, they're probably in your DT as well. Its amazing to see them eat pellets of food that are the same diameter as themselves.

If you have a few no big deal if you have alot of them your probly over feeding..

If you don't want them, some wrasse will eat them, or set up a soda bottle trap.

Thanks for the info ! I wanted 6 line wrasse so now seems as good a time to buy as any
