Siphon out what you can, it should come off in sheets and easily be removed from the tank.
Put a power head on the worst areas and it won't grow back. It's all part of the tank settling in. I had my first cyano bloom at around 2 months the again at 5 months.

This also means you have a nutrient problem. Too much waste somewhere but your tank is going through cycles so this is expected. Either way its normal for starting tanks. If you have your lights running on your tank with no coral that need it I would shut off the lights till you need them as well as siphoning the red stuff out of the tank and increasing your flow in your tank.

+ 1 normal for new tank going through cycles if it's brownish color then it's proab Dinofla..... Althought normal for new tank this is one of worst algae for ur tank it can cover and smother some coral and can also kill ur snails that eat it!
It took me 6 months to get rid of it!

+1 Cyano, it will run it's cycle. increase flow, Check your bulbs (i have old pcs on my sump and I have cyano there, but there is none in my DT that has leds), lower feedings if any, and finally check your RO water. The air Bubbles are normal during cyano because of trapped gas, no matter how much you blow it away it will come back same day.
