Me too if I could afford it. They may be just fish but they do become like part of the family.
There is a video on another forum of one of it's members doing a degassing on a fish with swim bladder disorder.

I believe it did. There wasn't much to the process, basically just poking a hole in the infected area to let the gas escape.
They sell degassing kits to fisherman to degas fish that come up from deeper water if they plan on releasing them.
