What glass thickness for sump baffles?

I'm setting up a 55g sump. What glass thickness is everyone using for baffles? Two compartments will be 10" high and one will be 18" high with 10" of water on the other side. The baffles will be 12" wide.

seems 1/4" glass is the most popular at the glass shops.

I would say 1/4" also or you can go a little beefier and go 3/16.

OK 1/4" it is. I might use 5/16 for the taller one. When it comes to sumps I like acrylic. But I'm not paying for one and acrylic doesn't caulk very well.
