What is considered an emergency? And who can i call

I been seeing so many post for emergencies...
What really is considered an emergency?
What can happen to your tank if there is a black out??
if the answer is live stocks will die...How? no filtration? Overflowing?


Just curious...so i will know what to do next time...

If ever i'm in an emergency situation..who can i contact? I live in Queens, Elmhurst

one of the problems that occur is that the oxygen level keeps on dropping cause there is no water movement and eventually the fish would have used up wateva oxygen was left in the water.... scary picture and i dont really wanna think about this happening..
