Scared the hell outa me when I first saw it...most critters I find are pretty tiny, but this thing was big as a snail, but never seen it before...

Really? The only other stomatela I've seen was lighter and this thing looked fuzzy and thought it had more than the two antenna...my first thought was a chiton, but I havent been in this game long enough to say know. I hve a pic of my stomie that I got tonight and it was what i rememered, he's grown quite a bit :) saw some crazy huge bristle worms in my tank tonight too...

Wow and just realized today my tank is 5 months old today!

Pretty certain. Does it have plates on its back? Chitons do, and Chitons move at glacier speeds (the ones I've seen). Stomatellas can be a track star if they wanted to be...

Similar?

Yeah, i don't think it's a chiton now, but it didn't look like the stomatela to me either. It didn't look like it had that little shell near the head...it looked more armored but not like the chiton pics i just looked at. But maybe it was the angle i was looking at it. I'll try and get better shots later. I saw him hiding behind my hollywood stunner tonight. He did move pretty fast when i was trying to catch pics of him...

Here's te huge bristle worm i saw tonight..at least i hope thats what it is :)
